If the thought of adding exercise is overwhelming, let us make it easy for you. With so many things that can come up, making it to the gym is often the last priority.

Everyone wants to look better and live longer, yet only 10-20% of the population exercise on a regular basis. As a certified personal trainer with 20 years experience I am still surprised that by this. Everyone has an excuse, and the most common excuse is lack of time.

Body Mastery can help you with that. We bring the workout to you. Whether in the comfort of your own home or at your workplace, we can help you fit a workout into your day. You don’t need to spend a lot of time getting ready and you eliminate the commute time as well. This can save an hour or more per workout and become the difference between getting healthy or making excuses.

When I first began Body Mastery in the late 80’s I bought a van and had all my equipment put on wheels. After a few months I realized that people don’t want or need a lot of equipment. Most clients have some fitness equipment. They just don’t use it to exercise. Having a personal trainer come to you isn’t about equipment. It is about having a commitment to do something for your health. Our trainers can train you with our mobile fitness tools, or train you using the equipment you own. We help provide the motivation and the knowledge to get you moving safely towards your fitness goals.

Many people have given up on exercise in the past because they were not successful. Most people who start a new exercise program push harder than necessary and get injured. Or they don’t see results quickly enough and get discouraged. Our program has been successful for the last 20 years primarily because we make exercise safe and effective, and help our clients set and reach reasonable goals. This is not Bootcamp. No one is going to yell at you or beat you down. You will not be asked to over-extend yourself. We provide heart monitors to monitor your exertion. And we change up your custom routine constantly to challenge your muscles constructively and avoid boredom.

Our workout at the work place makes good sense for many busy clients. So many people are so busy that they cannot get a workout in before getting to work, and by the time the workday is over, many are too tired to even think about heading to the gym. We suggest if you have an hour for lunch, this is a perfect time for a short workout that will still give you enough time to eat afterwards. And having just worked out makes it easier to make a sensible choice for lunch that is consistent with weight loss goals.

Seniors may prefer home workouts. It eliminates the need to drive and yet provides needed challenges. Many of our clients that are over 90 prefer this. A home senior program helps seniors improve their quality of life, maintain their independence and increase fitness.
