New Holiday Habits

The best time to get in shape is when you’re ready. This is one of the things that no one else can do for you. I think the reason December is effective is because you are making a decision for yourself, not because everyone else is doing something.
Starting in December also helps get you thru the holidays without gaining weight. If you start making healthier choices now, you will be well ahead of where you would be than if you wanted to start after New Years.
The simplest thing you can do it start moving. It is a great time to add walking to your day. Most people get better results by adding weight training into the mix. Lifting weights helps maintain bone mass as well as increase your metabolism.
